Choosing a Role

Wardogs has six roles: Assault, Medic, Recon, Support, Driver and Pilot. A role decides three things. It decides which gear, vehicles and attachments you can unlock, because each role has its own unlock tree. It decides which skills you can raise, because each role has its own skill set. And it decides which events earn that role’s XP. The role pages list the events that fit each role’s work.

All six roles share one mastery XP curve. The XP needed to reach level 10 is 25,000 in every role. So the choice of role changes what you unlock and which events count, not the XP each level costs.

Side by side

The first unlock is the lowest role level in the role’s unlock tree. The most expensive unlock is the highest cash cost in that tree. Both come from the unlock tables on each role page.
