The T-72B3 is a heavy tracked tank added in Season 2. Its main gun is a 125 mm cannon, with a coaxial machine gun and a separate mounted machine gun.

Overview

The T-72B3 is sold in the vehicle vendor under land tank, for 16,000 cash, and unlocks at level 1. It was added in Season 2, so the Season 1 data does not include it.

The data does not model any reactive armor on this tank. Its protection comes from the damage rules by damage type, not from separate armor pieces.

Armor and damage

Main health is 750 HP. The T-72B3 has separate health for its engine (150 HP), fuel tank (150 HP) and each track (125 HP).

Rifle rounds do no damage, so rifle fire cannot destroy it. Cannon rounds do work:

Ammunition Hits to destroy
5.56 mm, 7.62×54 mm, .308 Win, .50 cal Cannot be destroyed
20×102 mm cannon 176
30 mm cannon 38

Weapons and seats

Weapon Type Rate Effective range Reload Starting ammunition
2A46M-5 Cannon (125 mm) Cannon 50 rounds/min 10,000 m 4.0 s 9
PKTM Coaxial Gun (7.62 mm class) Machine gun 600 rounds/min (default) 1,000 m 4.25 s 300 (tracer)
M2 Browning Machine Gun (mounted) Machine gun 600 rounds/min (default) 1,000 m 8.0 s 0 (tracer)

The three seats are two in the hull, the driver and the gunner of the mounted machine gun, and one turret gunner. The T-72B3 also carries a smoke countermeasure with one charge. Its smoke screen stays active for 16 seconds, and the T-72B3 can use smoke again 90 seconds after the first use. The data lists one starting charge. Smoke charges follow the vehicle inventory in the same way as flares: the smoke item must be added to the vehicle. The data does not say what sells or gives smoke charges.
